The Herd Reserve forms part of the 12,000hectare Greater Philip Herd Private Nature Reserve, situated in the Vhembe Biosphere Reserve of Limpopo Province, South Africa, at the confluence of the Limpopo and Nzhelele rivers.
The Herd Reserve is a partnership between private landowners and the provincial conservation authorty, LEDET and is managed by a dedicated team who share a passion for African wildlife and conservation.
